On life & food in Vancouver...
"Living in Vancouver definitely its perks, and access to beautiful, local fresh produce is certainly one of them.
We love the extra creamy flavour with a hint of vanilla that the Alexis De Portneuf Lady Laurier brie cheese has, and when warmed on the grill, it's downright irresistible. Paired with delicious white peaches, baby tomatoes and crunchy pistachios - this is a vibrant appetizer that might be too good to share!
Our special place is one we go to often, New Brighton Park, a sprawling piece of natural beauty located in our area of East Vancouver. The park offers a brilliant view of the Northshore mountains and the city's port, and is the perfect spot for a picnic. With water views, 2 mini beaches, green grass and even a swimming pool, it's considered one of our city's best kept secrets, at least for anyone living outside of East Van!"
