Published February 22nd, 2017For 29 years the World Cheese Awards — organized by the Guild of Fine Food — has been bringing together buyers and sellers from the dairy industry worldwide. It's the largest cheese competition in the world.
This year it was held in the Basque Country city of San Sebastian, northern Spain. The competition attracted a record number of entries this year (over 2,727 entries), from more than 30 countries, which were judged by over 250 cheese experts from every corner of the globe. The winners were announced on November 18th, 2016 in San Sebastian, Spain.
